Marcus Stoinis in race to recover from IPL injury for ICC Champions Trophy 2017



Marcus Stoinis injured his shoulder while training with his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), following which he returned to Australia for rehab and recovery.

Marcus Stoinis’ ICC Champions Trophy 2017 fate hangs in the balance after the Australian all-rounder awkwardly landed on his shoulder while training with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) recently.

Marcus Stoinis, who is resting in Perth, will fly to Brisbane later this week to assess his shoulder injury before a decision is made on his fitness for the Champions Trophy 2017, according to a report in the Herald Sun.
