Gauhar Khan recently in an interview with a daily spoke about how elated she feels as an actoress after the release of 'Begum Jaan'. Her role as Rubina has been mentioned in most reviews, which obviously means it has left an impact.
The actress also speaks of how challenging it was to play Rubina and at the same time not let her director (Srijit Mukherji) down. Khan believes it is important to be able to portray a small role well than to be a main lead in a movie. It's not the length of her role that bothers the actress.
She has been known for her roles in 'Rocket Singh', 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Ishaqzaade' and many others.
